I am a student of life that is very passionate about living my best life and a strong desire to sharing with others so they too can reach their life goals and find more joy and balance along the way. I was a competitive swimmer, a triathlete and a long distance trail runner for most of my life. As an adult, I was loving the health that I thought I had by being so physically active. But not having the correct knowledge of incorporating proper nutrition and self care with the many hours of training, races, running my own business and raising a family came to a screeching halt with my adrenal gland shut down, low thyroid, hormones out of alignment, emotional distress and various other body function failures. The medical profession had no answer for me. I had to be my own advocate for my health and well being. I did some research and engaged in a total holistic approach to healing myself inside and out with acupuncture and herbal remedies, self care, yoga and meditation, cultivated healthy relationships and healing body movements and learned the importance of filling my body with nutrient dense whole foods and superfoods.
I then enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition school, Intuitive Eating and Corepower Yoga and received my certifications in 2016. These programs were life changing and they opened up my whole world to healing myself holistically using real food, engaging in healthy relationships, adopting gentle body movement with yoga and focusing on joy and happiness in my daily life.
This is how Cynthia Yee Wellness Navigator was developed from my own personal story. So, I urge you not to think of wellness as a number on the scale, exercising five days a week, omitting carbs, but rather a series of seemingly simple, actionable habits that, when strung together, can change everything. To embark on this journey to physically and mentally empower yourself is one decision you will never regret!

Sometimes our struggles need a good problem-solver, a fresh perspective or some wisdom and insight but most often the answers lie within. I provide a safe and nurturing space, accepting and a non-judgmental environment during our sessions. Change can feel terrifying at times but it is also necessary and natural for growth. I help my clients get unstuck and build the forward momentum they need to create the life they desire. I help you to restore balance, to enhance relationships, to improve your health and well being, align your career with values and to help you find meaning in your life.
